Imagine for a moment…It’s the 1930’s, you’re about 10 years old and your family struggles, like everyone else’s, as the tendrils of the great depression reach into your rural community.

Everyday is as boring as the next and it seems like nothing exciting ever comes along to break the daily monotony of your small town life.

You and a couple of friends are coming back from the fishing hole in the quiet meadow on the other side of the tracks. It’s the middle of another sleepy summer afternoon and, as usual, you have nothing on the stringer to show for your efforts.

As you step from the cool woods you are greeted by this sight passing before you. The magical train rumbles by as your friends stand beside you, aghast with wonder experience the excitement of a brightly painted Circus Train .

Perhaps a beautiful girl leans out the window, smiles at all of you and blows you a kiss as the last of the coaches of this mile long spectacle pass into oblivion around the bend.

You will excitedly try to tell people about it when you get home but, never having seen anything like this in your young life, you have no words to adequately describe this mystical sight and you know that everyone will think you and your friends just made the story up.
