Current Showmen’s Museum Restoration Projects
What we find at the museum is that people are generally concerned with preserving these items and some items are generously donated with that in mind. But by the time we get them, so many years have gone by with the equipment sitting in squalid conditions for decades. Much of what’s donated is in terrible condition when it arrives.
The many wagons we have at the Showmen’s Museum were used to carry equipment, shows, costumes, etc and hauled on trains from city to city. Please help support your Showmen’s Museum as they work hard to preserve history for all to see and experience. You would be amazed at what we can do with nickels and dimes and a few dollars along with lots of TLC.
he International Independent Showmen’s Museum located here in Riverview Florida has numerous wagons, trailers, pieces of equipment and artifacts all awaiting restoration. Look below to see a before and after picture of one of our restorations.
